Features
Simplicity
N-CAPIE offers an intuitive user experience and greatly
simplifies the design and deployment of API Ecosystems
using No-Code configuration.
User Experience
The User Experience ensures that API Implementation design and deployment is made “as simple as possible, but not simpler”.
Programmers, technologists, business analysts and citizen developers can more easily work together to define and implement business strategy - in a manner not possible when discussing lines of code.
No-Code Configuration
No-Code configuration facilitates increased productivity and greater collaboration. There is no 'coding' when using the service; the code is behind the scenes, invisible to the user.
The business logic required within Implementations is achieved purely through configuration. You can explore how this configuration is carried out in the User Guide below.
Speed
The ability to innovate and develop at speed provides
a significant competitive advantage for businesses and
is possibly the key feature of N-CAPIE.
Baseline Implementation in Seconds
Creating a baseline API Implementation takes seconds rather than weeks.
You simply select the Service Definition document you wish to use and N-CAPIE processes it in a matter of seconds.
You are then ready to configure the required business logic. This in turn takes only a matter of hours to complete when you are proficient at using the service.
One-Click Promotion
Once the business logic has been configured and approved, the API Implementation is ready for promotion.
As the Sandbox, Test and Production versions of the Implementation are configured identically, promotion into each of these environments can be carried out by the click of a button.
This streamlined process again saves weeks, if not months, of development time.
Standards
The importance of of adhering to standards cannot be overstated when it comes to API Ecosystems. N-CAPIE is a standards based SaaS service.
Templates
N-CAPIE adopts the use of templates in order to ensure consistency of design and deployment across Enterprise ecosystems.
The core templates to be configured within the service are Field Templates and Data Object Templates.
These templates are defined at the client onboarding stage and are used by default across all projects.
OpenAPI Specification
The OpenAPI Specification is a crucial component of modern API development, offering a standardized, widely-adopted framework for defining and documenting APIs.
Its broad support, extensive tooling ecosystem, and benefits in terms of interoperability, consistency, and efficiency make it a go-to choice for organizations looking to design, deploy, and manage APIs effectively.
N-CAPIE supports the processing of all OpenAPI Specification documents.
